Making History game series is it's bestselling project. Making History II (MHII) has acquired lots of fans and can be compared to Total War's projects, such as RomeTW, NapoleonTW or Imperial Glory. On March 29, 2012, Muzzy Lane announced the next game in its Making History series: "Making History: The Great War". A turn based strategy game of global war set in the volatile period of the early 20th century, The Great War places you in the role of national leader with the power to choose your own path and alter the course of history. It is primarily a game about conquest, but with a twist - skillful governing of your conquests will be required to achieve victory. "We've wanted to bring Making History to this era for a while", says Muzzy Lane President Dave McCool, "It was the height of national self interest and balance of power politics. Diplomacy was handled by monarchs and ministers in private, which led to flexible alliances and deceit. This combined with the race to develop the great innovations in military technology - Artillery, Warplanes, Submarines, and finally Tanks - makes for an exciting and challenging game experience. We also bring players face to face with the challenge of governing their conquests, which brings a whole new dimension to the game."
Unfortunately, we still don't have a precise release date of the game. The latest posts on the official web page of the company (making-history.com) present us fresh models to be introduced, but we're still unable to find out if the beta testing will begin by the end of this year.
